Windows and administrative privileges are required to install these updates on your SafeStick drive. If you are updating from version 3.1 or earlier, please read the next paragraph “Update from SafeStick Version 3.1 or Earlier” This will update your SafeStick to version 4.0.2. Download and run on Windows, then insert SafeStick. Update requires administrative privileges. This update includes both backup functionality and Mac OS X login-application 2.0.1.

This download is only compatible with SafeStick BM9930. (Model number for BM9930 can be found on the USB connector. If you can't find the model number your drive is a BM7741 and you should use SafeStick Desktop Application for Mac 1.0 below.) If you are on a Mac and need to unlock your SafeStick. Download and run application, insert SafeStick and enter password to unlock. This application should only be used if you have not updated to SafeStick 4.0 with Mac on a Windows computer (Mac compatibility included).
