Track the usage of all USB connected removable storage media within your organization.

DeviceDiscovery searches through and generates a report containing all devices used within the entire domain, when they were last used and to which computers they have been connected.

The truth about your network!devDisco

Are you trusting your users to not use storage media that you have told them not to use? Do you know if they follow your advice and policies? Now BlockMaster offers you this free tool to check your entire domain to see how well your users are behaving.

Using DeviceDiscovery

DeviceDiscovery is a command line tool. In order to fully utilize the power of DeviceDiscovery, you will need to have a domain with a directory service setup. The program is preconfigured for Microsoft Active Directory, but it will work with any other LDAP compliant directory service as well. To get the most out of it we recommend that you have some assistance from one of our resellers.

How can this help us?

When you get the report generated by DeviceDiscovery you will know just how well you are protected from data breaches caused by unsecure storage media. If your finding is that you are at high risk, we recommend that you have a look at our simple port control Device LockOut. Device LockOut has one simple task; it blocks access from non-approved USB storage devices. The only devices approved for use are the hardware-encrypted SafeConsoleReady Devices such as SafeXs. Learn more about Device LockOut.
